This application was built by Collin Condray using WordPress. The original map website was started when I was a business analyst at 3M. One of my duties there was to build store groups for replenishment strategies. I needed a way to see if low inventory stores were clustered in one place and in my free time, I built this original map application.

Later more detail was added to the location of each store. First the current weather information was added then the demographic information. Eventually I would like to add pictures of stores, a search for store by demographic, and retailers other than Wal-Mart. If you have any store lists for other retailers please let me know.

About the Author

RetailAnalysis.net was conceived and implemented by Collin Condray. Collin is a professional web developer with almost 10 years of experience. He has also worked in the retail analysis field as a business analyst for 3M and is currently a category manager for Tyson Foods. In these position, he has used his IT background to move beyond the traditional spreadsheet based analysis and has written analysis software to automatically look for insights in the ever increasing amount of data available to analysts.
